Hello just bought the game and even gifted it to my friend wanted to play it online with him for him to try the game, which was basically my childhood. Opened port 27666, opencoop, friend cant join.PLEASE Can someone who played it or knows how to, tell me how to set it up in detail with a friend? Really REALLY want to play it, this is my last hope.EDIT: Since theres no info on how to in internet ill explain here how i managed to do it. The host should have the port 27666 open, i think you cant host without that. If you dont know how to open them yourself, you should call your internet provider, they can open one for you. Or at least they did for me. Install Doom 3 (I used steam version, and it cant be BFG edition, Ressurection of Evil works too).

Install OpenCoop Alpha 2.0. Install Hamachi. If you're the host, create a Hamachi server and make your friends join you. Open Doom 3 via steam, then go to Mods and open OpenCoop. (You can also open it using the OpenCoop.exe, but this way you wont have Steam Overlay which i like).

Make sure all your multiplayer settings are in LAN. Create a server, in options change it from Multiplayer to LAN. Difficulty its messed up, it will be 1 level of difficulty higher than you pick. So if you want Hard, pick Normal. If you want Normal, pick Easy. Once the server its running, make your friend go to Find game in the menu of OpenCoop and where it says 'Connect IP' or something similar, your friend puts your Hamachi IP.
