I would be looking at those mods you downloaded, delete every trace of those Mods. Then re-install New Vegas.BattleSpectre I did that. I mean, they are still on my hard drive, but in a completely separate folder that's nowhere near the FNV folder. It's just odd that NONE of the mods work, especially since I used a lot of them (the extra grass mod, ED-E's light step, and the better UI mod) when I played it on my laptop when that game first came out. Fallout 3 launches without any problems, if that helps at all. QUOTE='BattleSpectre'I would be looking at those mods you downloaded, delete every trace of those Mods.

Delete all traces of them and try re-installing the game. It's the only solution i can think of.

The whole reason I wanted to play was to check out some new mods haha. You don't need mods with such a classic game, i've played it from start to finish with no mods. Enjoyed it all the same, but it sounds like you've already done this and want to try something new. Can't you just try and fix this little problem, and when it launches with no problems, re-download the mods? I suppose I could. Or I could just play Fallout 3 again haha. I'll give New Vegas another shot tomorrow.
QUOTE='Chris53'QUOTE='saruman354'In case anyone was concerned, I did get it to work finally. I pinpointed what mod was really causing the problems (the Area 51 mod) and use the Fallout Mod Manager to launch the game now. Works without a hitch.
