Serial number is 2122 A. Dennis W's Noblet DN, # 5696B was purchased new from Sherman Clay in Seattle around January 1957. James writes that serial # 31107 was from 1964 or a somewhat before.

The owner of this lovely clarinet recounts that it was purchased in the 1940’s from the owner ofThe barrel, upper and lower joints all have the logo with the “D” in the lyre above the oval (as shown in the first two photos) which the website shows the logo as an “Early Model 40”. The bell however has a slightly different logo, without the “D” in the lyre as show in the last two photos.This clarinet is ready to be playedan excellent upgrade from a plastic clarinet to this fine old wooden clarinet.
