The Best Batman Games

Posted : admin On 18.09.2019

Batman is a comic superhero, best known for fighting against villains such as the Joker, Catwoman, Poison Ivy and many others. During time, he also became the central figure of the Batman kids games online. Of course, some games do this better than others – not all Batman games are created equally. And so here’s our pick of the ten best Batman games, old and new.

Batman Arkham Origins had many many things other arkham games didn't have. Let's make a list: (I will be updating this often)1. Martial ArtistsThese guys were the best. They put up a fight and it showed batman wasn't the only martial artist in Gotham.

It added a bit more reality to the game. Why did they remove such an awesome aspect from the Arkham series? Didn't anyone feel bored of only Batman, and Deathstroke being the only martial artists in Gotham?

I feel like these guys made this game much more interesting.2. Greatest Boss BattlesEVERY Boss battle was awesome. It wasn't as simple as walking through Killer Croc's lair and beating him in a cut-scene.

Or One-Shotting DeathStroke. All these characters has unique abilities and put all your tools and skill to the test. Challenging and action-packed battles is what a good batman game must have.3. Actually showed it was his OriginWhat?

Batman actually lost a fight for the FIRST TIME in the Arkham Series?? He lost to bane. Showing he was still getting used to being batman.

When he lost, it was very smooth and very well played out on how they met again and how bane wanted anger from batman. It looked more real than batman running through mopping the floor with enemies.4. Small differencesThings like.

Batman actually had a fighting pose. Not just standing like he already mastered everything. And things like his batcave has training dummies and is incomplete.5. Gotham still dis-approved of batmanOf course! When Gordon has been trying to lock batman up many many times.

Also showing how Gotham hasn't yet accepted vigilantes.6. Bane isn't a big dumb idiot.Bane was actually smart and wasn't just a big retard like he was in AA.

In AA you could beat bane EASY, in AC - EASY, AO: Challenge. Everything in this game was a challenge.7. Alfred Played RolesYou actually saw and spoke to alfred, many many times. They argued, because bruce is still getting used to being batman. Most of all, Alfred was attacked by bane. I loved that because it just showed - again, batman is new and isn't very fully secure and used to being - batman.8. Everyone was 'Alive' in this.It wasn't just 'JOKER JOKER JOKER JOKER!'

It was also bane. Two Antagonists. Not just one. I was tired of everything revolving around Joker. Let someone else take the spot-light? Barbara played a role, alfred, everyone you'd least expect, played a role.9. Wasn't made by RockSteady and was better than their two last games maybe even AKI hate how people hate Arkham Origins simply because it wasn't made by RS.

That's just selfish. It was a better game than their two last ones - BY FAR. Don't hate it simply because the fighting anims. Are the same and there's a few glitches.

Or because it wasnt made by RS.10. The police caught up to batman. They caught him on the rooftop of a building. They actually caught up to batman and HE wasn't the one to escape on his own. Showing his rookie-ness.11.

Crime ScenesArkham games didn't have it that much. They granted your wish and it's STILL one of the most hated games? It makes absolutely NO sense. I really think it's simply because it wasn't made by rocksteady now.12. Outstanding StoryThe story was outstanding.

Batman's got a bounty on his head by all of the most dangerous people in Gotham, Batman tries to find 'Black Mask' to apprehend him for putting a bounty on his head while meeting with each and every assassin, Batman finds out who 'Joker' is and again, shows batman STILL isn't prepared for what'll happen to Gotham yet, batman said 'Alfred, I've encountered psychos before but - Joker is just.' , and when he meets Joker, he takes all of his anger out on him, he even almost killed him.13. Had two stories, and both played perfectly.I guess it's safe to say Bane is a story?

I mean, think about it, when batman first lost that fight, he didn't HAVE to put a tracker onto bane. He could have just went after Joker. But he didn't. He knew bane was a huge threat and it wasn't even about assassinating batman. Bane just had beef with batman for whatever reason and wanted to kill him straight-up. Had two things/stories/plots going on and they both mashed together perfectly into one huge play-out.(Bonus)14. Arkham City has Too Much PraiseArkham city was playing multiple stories at once, Joker, Hugo Strange, Ra'as Al Ghul's Plot, and it made the story less focused and less satisfying on each story since they sprinkled just a tiny bit on each story, making the stories boring, while AO put two together very nicely.

Yes, I understand Origins had lots of bugs but they weren't like completely game-breaking. Assassins Creed Unity/Syndicate. Aside from the small bugs, I think Arkham Origins gets an undeserved bad rep, while Arkham City gets an undeserved hype praise.1.

Arkham Origins2. Arkham City3. Arkham Knight4. Arkham AsylumSide note:AK could have been a great game if they just had boss battles like Arkham Origins and didn't shove the bat-mobile down our throats. If you disagree: Mind leaving reasons of why? Arkham City2.

Arkham Asylum3. Arkham Origin4. Arkham KnightArkham City was pretty good. It's story-line wasn't as good as Arkham Origins.

Arkham city's boss fights were pretty fun. Not very entertaining though. Had two Antagonists, Hugo Strange and Joker. EVERYTHING revolved around Joker.Arkham Asylum out-right sucked. Boss fights were plain and stupid, basic story line to 'Get the joker' that game's over-rated.

Arkham Asylum don't even have any pros. The story line is VERY basic.

Boss battles are retarded, bane was stupid and didn't put up a fight, KillerCroc was very easy, you just ran from him.Arkham knight - boss fights sucked, shoves the batmobile down our throats for EVERYTHING and - that's about it. But had a great story-line.Arkham Origins - Great Story line, batman had 8 Assassins to worry about, plus the mysterious 'Black mask'.

Wasn't your basic GET THE JOKER story line. Everyone shows up in the game more than 2 or 3 times. Including people you don't usually meet/talk to in Arkham Games.

Why do people hate this game? Cause of a few glitches or something? It's BY FAR better than ANY other arkham boss battle. The Storyline wasn't all that basic. Or wait, are you all angry because it still had the same fighting style? Atmospherics TerrorismArkham City is the only game that comes close to Arkahm Origins. Both games provide superior atmospherics and satisfying characterization (i.e., Catwoman, Black Mast, etc.).

Origins edges out for grittier action-adventure.I agree, however, that AK could have been better with less bat-mobile redundancy, and AA was a nice intro to the series (with the nifty Joker intro).I would have liked the Gotham nemesis Dollmaker (a maniac scientist who creates doll-slaves with living body parts re-sewn onto hapless subjects) to have made an appearance in Arkham Origins.Dollmaker represents 'Gotham folkloric terrorism.' The combat became a mess when you were facing several different archetypes. Weren't they just reskins of the League of Assassins members anyway?2. The boss battles were awful.

Nothing new to the Batman Arkham franchise. The only good boss battle was Mr. Freeze in City.3. In Arkham Aslylum, you can pretty much put the pieces together. Batman's been doing this for a while, he's fought the Joker countless times, Bane broke his back, Oracle is his partner, he's probably went through a few Robins, and he's faced his entire rouge's gallery. Arkham Origins tries to squander that by condensing his origins into one night4. I don't why Bane was a dumb brute in Asylum.

Was it Dini or did it stem from Rocksteady's awful art design? Origins had a much more faithful adaptation of Bane.7. Alfred was sorely missing in Asylum and Origins, but Oracle definitely filled that role and her own.8.

Black Mask wasn't an antagonist at all, it was a red herring. It was 'JOKER JOKER JOKER' all over again.9.

Haven't played Knight, but Origins definitely was not better than Asylum or City.10. The crime scenes were interesting, but nothing more than that. There was nothing to actual solve, it was just 'Use detective vision and find the highlighted mark' again.

What do you mean anyway? The fighting style was the same as the last two, they just added like 2 or 3 more moves.

But you didn't like ANY archetypes because well - Idk.2. Boss battles were great, they were challenging and they weren't out-right stupid like the last two.

What kind of Boss Battles do you like? Ones where you beat the guy in a cut-scene like on the ending of watch dogs? If you don't like challenging bosses, WHY do you even attempt to play batman games?3.In Origins you can put the pieces together, hell! They left clues that Joker was black mask before the investigation.

You probably just didn't try because - it's origins. The only thing that was unpredictable was batman losing to bane, but nah, you just grinded over that fact too right? If you couldn't put the pieces together in origins then - I worry for you. Very very much.4. Yeah, I know, but even still, it wasn't JOKER JOKER JOKER! Bigger threats like bane and firefly came to town.9.

Yes, it most certainly was.10. 'Nothing more than that' really makes you sound ignorant as hell. (This is what ticked me off)If you're a PC gamer, then there's bound to be glitches assuming you have a shit ton of games on your PC already or because they probably didn't patch things on PC. Because on Console, the fighting was flawless for me. (I've updated my OP)If you don't like challenging boss battles then - Why? Why play batman games? Please tell me what you expect boss battles to be like.

Just like the other guy said, Origins is more of a Action-type game. Which is what ALL batman games should be like. Not a guess-what's-next game. I'm not saying the story has to be COMPLETELY random, it definitely needs a good story, it just shouldn't kill you if you couldn't guess what was next.

: It's soo hard to please gamers like you. What do you mean anyway? The fighting style was the same as the last two, they just added like 2 or 3 more moves. But you didn't like ANY archetypes because well - I bet you don't even know.2. Boss battles were great, they were challenging and they weren't out-right stupid like the last two. I'm not saying the story has to be COMPLETELY random, it definitely needs a good story, it just shouldn't kill you if you couldn't guess what was next.Buddy, you seem awful defensive of this game. You aren't a WB Games employee are you?Mind you, I actually thought Origins was more fun than City, minus the annoying bugs, but other than that, it kinda falls short. The combat was barely changed from City. The martial artists were basically your standard thugs, except you had to counter them twice. The brutes were pretty clearly a watered down version of the brutes from Knight, considering that Rocksteady actually let WB borrow some of their stuff for Origins. The boss battles were hardly challenging. Deathstroke - spam counter, and bingo.

Firefly - same set-up as the Poison Ivy boss fight from Asylum. Copperhead - watered down Ra's al Ghul's boss battle. Bane - the ONLY boss fight that was even slightly creative, and it was still ridiculously easy. And Joker was basically front and center, AGAIN. Bane shared some side-credit.

In City, so did Hugo Strange and Ra's al Ghul, even if they were both treated atrociously.Overall, Origins was a sub-par product. Having a slightly less dumber story than City doesn't make up for lack of creativity, and bugs which WB Games BLATANTLY REFUSED to fix, and just left as they were.
