Clark in 1912 from a Delavan Smith and I'm pretty sure this Zenith movement is original to the case. It is about 16S, 17-jewel, nickel and adjusted to 3 positions and being pendent set. Since the porcelain dial is labeled Charles Mayer & Co, I have already offered it to John Cote for his private label - Indianapolis area sold watch collection.

The 'night time' version of this was registered in 1897 is shown below:The medallions (awards at International Expositions) quoutes Paris in 1900 and geneva for a date I can't read. My assumption is that these medals would have had a time limited marketing value, and I doubt they would have been quoted more than 10 years after the event. Since they would have been superceded by awards at later expositions. I therefore think that your watch dates to about 1907-1910.The watch case is 80% silver as indicated by the 0,800 mark and the Swiss grouse assay mark in your last photo.The movement is unexceptional, although Zenith did have a solid manufacturing reputation. Your fourth photo specifies a very standard 15-jewel movement with compensated balance wheel and a Breguet-style hairspring.
